...1 TO 2 INCHES OF WET SNOW POSSIBLE THROUGH MIDNIGHT ACROSS
CENTRAL AND NORTHEAST MASSACHUSETTS WITH LOCALIZED 3 INCH AMOUNTS
POSSIBLE NEAR THE NEW HAMPSHIRE BORDER...

Steady wet snow has developed this evening across portions of
central and northeast Massachusetts. Wet snow will continue to impact
this region for much of the evening before moving away from the
region near or shortly after midnight. Total snow accumulation of
1-2 inches will be possible across portions of central and
northeast Massachusetts with localized 3 inch amounts possible
near the New Hampshire border.

Given temperatures near freezing...many treated roadways will be
wet or just slushy. However...brief bursts of moderate snow may
allow for more slippery conditions to develop especially on
secondary roadways in the high terrain. Drive with extra caution
this evening across central and northeast Massachusetts.
