...HEAVY RAINFALL CAUSING MINOR FLOODING ON CAPE COD...

At 1100 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a thunderstorm with heavy
rainfall near Yarmouth, or near Barnstable, moving east at 35 mph.
Additional moderate rains over Buzzards Bay were also expected to
move over Cape Cod through midnight.

HAZARD...Heavy rain.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Minimal. Ponding of water and minor urbanized and low-lying
         flooding.

Locations impacted include...
Barnstable, Falmouth, Brewster, Provincetown, Yarmouth, Sandwich,
Bourne, Dennis, Mashpee, Harwich, Chatham, Orleans, Eastham,
Wellfleet, Truro, Gosnold, and Hyannis.
