.DISCUSSION...
Issued at 1220 PM CDT Mon Jul 14 2025

High pressure is expected to dominate over the region this next
week, bringing a typical summer hot and dry weather pattern to Deep
South Texas. Little-to-no precipitation is expected anywhere
throughout Deep South Texas between tonight through early next
week, with mostly cloudy skies giving way to mostly sunny skies by
the weekend. High temperatures are expected to gradually warm
through the weekend from the mid-90s to the upper-90s/lower 100s.
Low temperatures are expected to stay consistent in the mid to
upper 70s. The heat risk throughout the week is expected to remain
moderate.

Due to slightly increased swell and wave heights, there is a
moderate rip current risk at area beaches through tomorrow. Swimmers
at area beaches will need to remain situationally aware for the
presence of dangerous rip currents.

Varying cloud coverage, cloud height and winds have been observed
this evening at KBRO, which may continue through sunset as breezy
southeasterly winds advect higher moisture content off the Gulf
inland, resulting in cloud streaks and brief periods of MVFR
ceilings. Overnight, southeasterly winds settle down to a gentle
breeze at all sites. Periods of MVFR ceilings are possible at
KBRO and KHRL earlier tonight and towards sunrise at KMFE, noted
in the TEMPO`s. VFR conditions return throughout Tuesday morning,
with breezy southeasterly winds returning by the afternoon.

.MARINE...
Issued at 1220 PM CDT Mon Jul 14 2025

Low to moderate seas are expected throughout the week into early
next week. Winds should remain south-southeasterly, briefly
approaching Small Craft Exercise Caution criteria tomorrow and
Wednesday afternoons. Wave heights are expected to remain low,
between 2-4 feet. There is a low chance a disturbance could form in
the eastern Gulf over the next week. Though no impacts to the Lower
South Texas coast are expected at this time, if a disturbance does
indeed form it could cause slightly rougher seas into next week for
our area.
