Coastal Waters Forecast for the Lower Texas Coast

Lower Texas coastal waters from Baffin Bay to the mouth of the
Rio Grande out 60 NM.

Seas are provided as a range of the average height of the highest
1/3 of the waves, along with the occasional height of the average
highest 10 percent of the waves.

.SYNOPSIS...Mostly light to moderate southerly to southeasterly
winds and low to moderate seas are forecast along the Lower Texas
Coast through the period. The passage of a weak cold front early
next week will produce a significant wind shift, as the winds will
turn towards the north for a short period of time. However, Small
Craft Should Exercise Caution and Small Craft Advisory are not
likely to be needed.
