Coastal Waters Forecast for the Lower Texas Coast...UPDATED

Lower Texas coastal waters from Baffin Bay to the mouth of the
Rio Grande out 60 NM.

Seas are provided as a range of the average height of the highest
1/3 of the waves, along with the occasional height of the average
highest 10 percent of the waves.

.SYNOPSIS...Observed buoy readings are showing Small Craft
Exercise Caution conditions both in the Bay and in the Gulf
waters. These will continued to be monitored in case a Small Craft
Advisory is needed this afternoon. Winds are expected to improve tonight.
Otherwise, generally favorable conditions are expected through
the period. Light to moderate onshore winds, moderate to slight
seas, and low rain chances should prevail through much of the
week. However, tropical moisture increasing over the region may
bring a low to medium chance of rain through this evening.
