Coastal Waters Forecast for the Lower Texas Coast

Lower Texas coastal waters from Baffin Bay to the mouth of the
Rio Grande out 60 NM.

Seas are provided as a range of the average height of the highest
1/3 of the waves, along with the occasional height of the average
highest 10 percent of the waves.

.SYNOPSIS...Light to moderate southerly to southeasterly winds
and low to moderate seas are forecast along the Lower Texas Coast
through the much of the period. The passage of a weak cold front
early in the week will briefly shift winds more easterly to
northerly Monday and Tuesday, with southeasterly flow returning
through the remainder of the week. The front is not expected to
bring a significant increase in wind speeds, and Small Craft
Should Exercise Caution headlines or Small Craft Advisories are
not likely to be needed.
