Coastal Waters Forecast for the Lower Texas Coast

Lower Texas coastal waters from Baffin Bay to the mouth of the
Rio Grande out 60 NM.

Seas are provided as a range of the average height of the highest
1/3 of the waves, along with the occasional height of the average
highest 10 percent of the waves.

.SYNOPSIS...Generally favorable conditions this afternoon. An
approaching cold front arrives late tonight with thunderstorms
likely (70 to 80 percent) and briefly hazardous marine conditions
across the Gulf. Some of these storms could be severe. Small
Craft Advisory conditions are expected tonight into tomorrow
morning for the Gulf and Laguna Madre. Favorable conditions return
Monday, persisting through the workweek.
