Seas are provided as a range of the average height of the highest 1/3 of the waves, along with the occasional height of the average highest 10 percent of the waves. GMZ100-152230- 334 AM CST Wed Jan 15 2025 .SYNOPSIS...Fresh to strong north-northeasterly winds across the coastal waters have led to Small Craft Advisory (SCA) conditions this evening, expected to continue into Thursday. Sea heights are expected to build to 6 to 8 feet with occasional 10 foot seas, with the strongest winds overnight as a pressure gradient strengthens due to an approaching shortwave trough. On Thursday, conditions will slightly improve as the gradient relaxes, but Small Craft Advisory conditions are expected at least through noon on Thursday. Friday and Saturday will have more favorable winds and wave heights until a strong cold front pushes through Saturday evening, which will deteriorate marine conditions again by Sunday. $$ GMZ130-132-135-152230- Laguna Madre from the Port of Brownsville to the Arroyo Colorado- Laguna Madre from the Arroyo Colorado To 5 NM north of Port Mansfield TX- Laguna Madre from 5 nm north of Port Mansfield to Baffin Bay TX- 334 AM CST Wed Jan 15 2025 ...SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY IN EFFECT THROUGH THURSDAY MORNING... .TODAY...North winds 15 to 20 knots, increasing to 20 to 25 knots this afternoon.
