Coastal Waters Forecast for the Lower Texas Coast

Lower Texas coastal waters from Baffin Bay to the mouth of the
Rio Grande out 60 NM.

Seas are provided as a range of the average height of the highest
1/3 of the waves, along with the occasional height of the average
highest 10 percent of the waves.

.SYNOPSIS...The combination of high pressure across the Gulf, a
strengthening low pressure trough and a cold front over the
Central Plains continues to produce an enhanced pressure gradient.
These strong southerly winds are expected to persist through at
least Thursday night and likely well into Friday. The cold front
will be slow to move through and is not expected until Saturday
night or Sunday.
