There were no known injuries. .Thunderstorm Wind 1 .. Peak Wind /Estimated/: 75-90 mph Path Length: 5.75 miles Path Width: 2.50 miles Fatalities: 0 Injuries: 0 Start Date: June 12, 2025 Start Time: 743 PM CDT Start Location: North Alamo/Hidalgo/TX Start Lat/Lon: 26.24/-98.09 End Date: June 12, 2025 End Time: 755 PM CDT End Location: Donna/Hidalgo/TX End Lat/Lon: 26.17/-98.04 Summary: Just after 740 PM CDT June 12, 2025, a strong microburst descended from a severe thunderstorm in North Alamo, near the city line with Muniz, causing damage to traffic lights, a stand alone tower, powerlines/poles, fences and trees as well as ripped off the roof of a house, flipped a trailer and dislocated a metal structure. Altogether, the damage locations were along a northwest to southeast- oriented line with six of the seven surveyed locations north of Expressway 83/east of Interstate 69C (beginning near the Muniz/North Alamo city line) and the 7th spot south of Expressway 83 in Donna. The most notable damage was to a metal stand alone tower nearby the Donna North High School, which was bent perpendicular to the tower`s base.
