.DISCUSSION...
Dry weather will continue through the weekend. Lowest relative
humidity on Saturday afternoon will approach 30%, especially in
Vermont, although winds will be light. In contrast, breezy
conditions are still expected for Sunday with south-
southeasterly winds trending stronger through the day. Gusts will
be between 20 and 35 MPH, locally up to 40 MPH in the northern
Champlain Valley near the lake shore and possibly north facing
slopes of the Adirondacks. Meanwhile, relative humidities should
remain mainly above 40%, except likely approaching 35% in the
northern St. Lawrence Valley due to topographical effects. A
widespread wetting rainfall will follow late Sunday night into
Monday.
