.DISCUSSION...
Scattered showers and thunderstorms will move through during the
rest of tonight and during the day today. Winds will be strong
today, with gusts reaching the 15-25 mph this afternoon and
evening. Parts of the northern Adirondacks could see gusts up to
40 mph. Winds will be southwesterly during the day, switching to
northwesterly this evening. Winds remain northwesterly tomorrow
but gradually diminish. Hot and humid conditions will prevail
tomorrow, but cooler and drier air will arrive for tomorrow and
Saturday. Relative humidities will remain elevated today, but they
will fall into the 35-50 percent range for tomorrow and Saturday.
