Dry weather will prevail today. Winds will be relatively light,
with peak gusts between 10 and 15 mph in the afternoon. Winds will
likely be southwesterly to southerly, though they could become
southeasterly for a period of time in the afternoon if a lake
breeze reaches the location. Conditions will be hot and humid,
with highs in the mid 90s in the afternoon. The humidity will
cause heat indices to reach the upper 90s. Scattered showers and
thunderstorms move through tonight and tomorrow and while a
wetting rain is likely, it is not certain due to the spotty nature
of the expected showers. It will be mostly sunny today, though a
few high thin clouds may begin to overspread the area late this
afternoon.
