.DISCUSSION...
Scattered thunderstorms are roughly organized southwest to
northeast across the western Adirondacks early this evening,
moving northeastward while lines gradually move eastward towards
Keeseville this evening. The highest chances for heavy rain
remains between 7 and 8 PM, with some lingering chances for
showers through midnight tonight. Precipitation chances are high
through tonight at 75 to 80%, with most likely rainfall amounts of
only a few tenths of an inch. If the core of a thunderstorm moves
overhead this evening, upwards of an inch of rain can be
expected. In the unlikely event that showers and storms miss the
area tonight, there is another chance of showers on Monday, which
leads to about a 90% chance of at least 0.1" of rainfall through
tomorrow night. Southerly winds will be be gusty through the
the next few hours to near 25 mph with prevailing winds around
10-15 mph. Winds will become variable as the showers move into the
area, trending light tonight, and becoming more westerly on
Monday. Minimum RH today and tomorrow will be moderately high
with values greater than 60%.
