...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHERN ST. LAWRENCE COUNTY
THROUGH 845 AM EDT...

At 743 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking an complex of
thunderstorms from Edwardsville to Star Lake, moving east at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Moderate to heavy rainfall with gusts to 40 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Ponding of water on roadways may cause hazards to
         motorists. Heavy rain may cause nuisance flooding of low
         lying areas. Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and
         blow around unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Gouverneur, Oswegatchie, De Kalb, Fowler, Degrasse, Edwardsville,
Hermon, Horseshoe Lake, Richville, Cranberry Lake, Star Lake,
Russell, Fine, Rossie, Pitcairn, Edwards, Conifer, Talcville, South
Edwards, and Gale.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Moderate to heavy rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may
lead to nuisance flooding of low lying areas or ponding of water on
roadways.
