...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT EAST CENTRAL LAMOILLE...
CALEDONIA...SOUTHEASTERN ORLEANS...SOUTHWESTERN ESSEX AND
NORTHEASTERN WASHINGTON COUNTIES THROUGH 630 PM EDT...

At 528 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Cabot Village, moving east at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
St. Johnsbury, Lyndon, Greensboro, Waterford, Stannard, Hardwick,
Marshfield Village, Burke, Wolcott, Sutton, Lunenburg, Greensboro
Bend, Sheffield, Newark, Cabot Village, Newark Hollow, Lower
Waterford, West Burke Village, Lyndonville Village, and East Haven.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 91 between mile markers 123 and 152.
 Interstate 93 between mile markers 1 and 11.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 800 PM EDT for central,
northeastern and northwestern Vermont.
