...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHEASTERN RUTLAND AND
SOUTHERN WINDSOR COUNTIES THROUGH 745 PM EDT...

At 655 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Mount Tabor, moving east at 50 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Chester, Woodstock, Hartland Four Corners, Cavendish, Ludlow Village,
Perkinsville Village, Wallingford, Mt. Holly, Mt. Tabor, Plymouth,
Hartland, Windsor, Mount Holly, Ludlow, Mount Tabor, Weston,
Tinmouth, Danby, Reading, and Baltimore.

This includes Interstate 91 between mile markers 48 and 49, and
between mile markers 51 and 68.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 800 PM EDT for southern
Vermont.
