* Until 530 PM EDT.

* At 442 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Waterbury
  Village, moving east at 35 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Expect damage to trees and powerlines.

* Locations impacted include...
  Montpelier, Calais, Huntington, Stowe, Woodbury, Cabot, Hardwick,
  Duxbury, Waterbury Village, Marshfield Village, Waterbury,
  Worcester, Middlesex, Marshfield, Bolton, Cabot Village, Elmore,
  Richmond, East Montpelier, and Wolcott.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 800 PM EDT for central,
northeastern and northwestern Vermont.
