...LAKE EFFECT SNOW WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 1 AM THURSDAY TO
7 PM EST FRIDAY...

* WHAT...Heavy lake effect snow expected. Total snow accumulations
  between 5 and 10 inches. Winds gusting as high as 30 to 40 mph.

* WHERE...Southeastern St. Lawrence County.

* WHEN...From 1 AM Thursday to 7 PM EST Friday. The heaviest snow
  will fall Thursday and Thursday night.

* IMPACTS...Visibilities may drop below 1/4 mile due to falling and
  blowing snow. The strong winds and weight of snow on tree limbs
  may down power lines and could cause sporadic power outages.
  Whiteout conditions may occur and holiday travel will be difficult.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in
your vehicle in case of an emergency. For the latest on road

During lake effect snow, the weather can vary from bands of locally
heavy snow to dry weather just a few miles away. Visibilities can
