Dry and mostly sunny weather will prevail today with a light
breeze from the southwest. Clouds will increase tonight ahead
of the next system.

Tuesday, an approaching trough of low pressure will bring a
return to unsettled weather with a few rounds of showers and
thunderstorms crossing Western NY with very uneven coverage. A
few storms may be strong to severe from early afternoon through
mid evening. The primary risk will be isolated strong wind gusts,
frequent lightning, and brief torrential downpours.
