.DISCUSSION...
High clouds and limited sunshine this morning will give way to
thickening clouds this afternoon. There is a chance of a few spotty
showers by late afternoon. Relative humidity will be considerably
higher today than yesterday as a more moist airmass gradually moves
into the Finger Lakes. There may be a brief window of a few hours
this morning when relative humidity drops below 50 percent before
rising again this afternoon. A light south breeze early this
morning will become southwest and increase from late morning through
the afternoon.
A wet pattern will return tonight through Tuesday night, with
widespread soaking rainfall. Total rainfall amounts from tonight
through Wednesday morning will likely exceed one inch.
