For the Lake Effect Snow Warning, heavy lake effect snow expected. Total snow accumulations 1 to 2 feet possible in the most persistent lake snows across Oswego County, with 8 to 14 inches possible across far northern Cayuga, southern Jefferson, and far western Lewis counties. * WHERE...Northern Cayuga, Oswego, Jefferson, and Lewis Counties. * WHEN...For the Winter Storm Warning, until 7 AM EST Tuesday. For the Lake Effect Snow Warning, from 7 AM Tuesday to 7 PM EST Thursday. * IMPACTS...Travel will be very difficult at times with snow covered roads and poor visibility.
