Today, conditions will be warm and dry with the exception of a small chance (10-20%) of precip over the southwest mountains. Atmospheric moisture will begin to increase as well as the chances for scattered showers and thunderstorms Wednesday through Friday. This is ahead of a Pacific low and associated frontal passage set to move through Thursday afternoon. Gusty NW winds will follow the frontal passage Thursday evening into Friday with gusts of 25-35 mph. Gusts up to 40 are most likely (50% chance) Friday over the western foothills.
