Unseasonably cool and wet conditions will continue today, with precipitation diminishing from west to east into this afternoon. Additional precipitation will range from a few hundredths in the west to a half inch or more over the southeast districts. Drier and warmer conditions are expected Thursday and Friday with highs in the mid 80s, but afternoon RH values remain elevated in the 35 to 45 percent range for most locations. The exception is portions of zone 123 where drier air will bring RH values into the 20s. Weekend temperatures climb into the 90s with RH values in the 20s for most locations. Low chances for afternoon and evening thunderstorms persist each day through the weekend.
