Temperatures are expected to be 15-20 degrees above average across the districts today. Afternoon humidity will range from teens to lower 20s. Southerly wind gusts of 15 to 25 mph are possible in the foothills and out east along the MT/Dakota border counties. The area of most concern is from Sheridan County, WY to areas in the Ashland Fire District which did not see as much precipitation from the last event as other locations and humidity will be notably low today with brisk southerly wind. A Red Flag Warning is in place across Sheridan County, WY and portions of SE MT from noon to 8 pm. Thursday will be similar, but afternoon winds are not expected to be as brisk with elevated fire weather conditions limited to locations near the Wyoming border. Above average temperatures and dry conditions are expected to continue into the weekend with little if any chance of any wetting rainfall.
