Widespread breezy conditions will continue through this afternoon with gusts up to 35 mph. Scattered showers and isolated weak thunderstorms may develop across southern Montana late this afternoon through late evening. The primary concerns with any activity will be gusty winds. Conditions trend warmer and drier Wednesday into Thursday, along with breezy west winds. Thursday will be the warmest day with widespread highs in the 80s to near 90 and minRH in the low teens. The strongest winds are currently expected over the mountains and foothills Thursday. All zones will see elevated fire weather conditions Wednesday and Thursday. There is potential for critical conditions Thursday over the lower elevations of the western zones where winds will be stronger and little precipitation has fallen over the last week.
