A low level jet will keep ridges breezy overnight across the east. Hot conditions continue for Saturday, with a disturbance bringing shower and thunderstorm chances during the afternoon and evening. Breezy southeast winds can be expected across MTZ130-133 Saturday. Thunderstorms could produce gusty winds, small hail and heavy rainfall. A break down of the upper level ridge occurs Sunday as a cold front moves through the area bring breezy westerly winds, strongest for western areas, though humidity looks to remain above 20 percent. Showers/thunderstorms will accompany the front as well, and could produce gusty winds and brief heavy rain. Conditions trend slightly cooler and drier next week, though an occasional chance of precipitation remains.
