.DISCUSSION...

After a 10 to 20 mph southeasterly low level jet tonight, winds
will be much quieter for most of the day Thursday. After 1400 MDT
Thursday, showers and storms will move into the region from the
south. While isolated showers and storms are forecast Thursday
afternoon, the chance for a wetting rain through midday Friday is
less than 10 percent. Friday could bring a chance for some
stronger thunderstorms that develop after 1600 MDT. With the
exception of tonight and near thunderstorms, winds will remain
light through the next 48 hours. RH recoveries will be good with
the potential for some patchy fog in the low lying areas,
especially near rivers. The likelihood of receiving a wetting rain
Friday night through the weekend is quite high. WMR
