Hot and dry conditions can be expected at the fire today, with
southerly winds this morning, shifting to the northwest by 1000
MDT, then north to northeast in the afternoon. An isolated shower
is possible this morning, with thunderstorm chances returning
later this afternoon and evening. Thunderstorms could be strong
this afternoon and evening with gusty winds to 50 mph and brief
heavy rain. Shower and thunderstorm chances linger overnight into
Thursday. Winds shift back to the south tonight, with moderate to
good RH recoveries. Smoke from fires in the Pacific NW may keep
temperatures a bit cooler and RH a bit higher than forecast.

                    thunderstorms after 1500 MDT. Patchy smoke.
