.DISCUSSION...

Gusty winds are expected to impact the burn site Monday ahead of
and behind a mid-day cold front passage. With this, westerly wind
gusts around 40 mph are forecast, with localize higher gusts
possible. While breezy winds will continue through Monday evening,
winds will decrease Monday night into Tuesday morning. As far as
precipitation goes, scattered snow showers are expected to impact
the burn site through the day Monday. Snowfall amounts are
currently forecast around 1 to 3 inches. The chance of seeing 5 or
more inches is low (10 percent). The cold front will also usher
in much colder temperature Monday with the high expected to occur
during the morning hours. Arends
