A cold front passed through the area early this morning and
gusty/mixed southwest (downcanyon) winds will prevail through the
day, with strongest gusts (35 mph) beginning around 9am. Winds
will decrease but remain out of the southwest tonight. Southwest
winds linger Wednesday but they may become more terrain driven in
the afternoon. Look for occasional flurries or light snow showers
today and tonight due to instability over the surrounding
mountains.
