...Flood Watch this evening through Sunday afternoon...
Slow moving showers with embedded thunderstorms move in this
evening. There may be brief breaks in precipitation, but overall,
showers and occasional thunderstorms will continue into Sunday
afternoon. Widespread rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are
expected, with locally higher amounts of 4+ inches under particularly
slow moving and persistent thunderstorms. Any stronger storms will
be capable of producing erratic wind gusts up to 50 mph. Winds
increase Saturday, with gusts up to 25 mph out of the north to
northwest by the afternoon. Monday into next week trends warmer and
drier.
