...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT CENTRAL YELLOWSTONE COUNTY
UNTIL 715 PM MDT...

At 651 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 7
miles northwest of Worden, or 23 miles northeast of Billings, moving
southeast at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible.

Locations impacted include...
  Worden, Ballantine and Pompeys Pillar.

This includes portions of I-94 between Huntley and Pompeys Pillar.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening
weather conditions.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead
to flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
