...WINTER STORM WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL MIDNIGHT MST TONIGHT...

* WHAT...Periods of moderate to heavy snow, strong winds and blowing
  snow. Additional snow accumulations between 8 and 15 inches. Winds
  gusting as high as 60 mph on the mountain tops.

* WHERE...Absaroka/Beartooth Mountains and Crazy Mountains.

* WHEN...Until midnight MST tonight.

* IMPACTS...Mountain recreation will be impacted by heavy
  accumulating snow and blowing snow.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The heaviest snowfall will occur on west and
  northwest facing slopes, including the mountains near Cooke City.
  The mountains around Red Lodge will see much less snowfall, 1 to 5
  inches.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Those in the backcountry should ensure they are prepared for
dangerous winter conditions.

* WHAT...Occasional snow and blowing snow. Additional snow
  accumulations of 4 to 7 inches. Winds gusting as high as 40 mph.

* WHERE...In Montana, Pryor/Northern Bighorn Mountains. In Wyoming,
  Northeast Bighorn Mountains.

* WHEN...Until 2 PM MST this afternoon.

* IMPACTS...Outdoor recreation will be impacted by wintry conditions.

Those recreating in the backcountry should ensure they are prepared
for difficult wintry conditions.
