...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 9 PM EDT THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive
  rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of east central Georgia, including the following
  county, Richmond.

* WHEN...Until 900 PM EDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
  Overflowing poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 807 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream
    flooding. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen.
  - Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over
    the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    North Augusta, Augusta, Hephzibah, South Augusta, Glendale,
    Augusta Regional Airport, Miles Park, Richmond County
    Recreation Center, Kendan Park, Hillcrest Memorial Park,
    Westover, Glenn Hills, Minnick Park, Diamond Lakes Regional
    Park, Phinizy Swamp Nature Park, Medical District Augusta,
    May Park, Springfield Village Park and Beech Island.
  - This includes Interstate 520 in Georgia between mile markers
    5 and 15.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Most flooding deaths occur in vehicles. Never drive through a
flooded roadway or around barricades. Turn around, don`t drown.
