Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Central South Carolina
and East Central Georgia
National Weather Service Columbia SC
120 AM EST Tue Nov 18 2025

.DISCUSSION...
Another dry day is expected across the forecast area. Light winds
will shift southeast by this afternoon as high pressure moves
offshore. While some moisture recovery is expected later in the
day, Min RH values are anticipated to fall below 30 percent
around midday, with many locations bottoming out between 20 and
25 percent RH before the increase. Winds shift to the southwest on
Wednesday, allowing for further moisture recovery, though the
chance of rain remains very low (less than 10 percent) until
Friday night into Saturday.

Fog potential tonight: Fog not expected.
