Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Central South Carolina
and East Central Georgia
National Weather Service Columbia SC
105 PM EST Thu Nov 20 2025

.DISCUSSION...
High pressure shifting offshore tonight with winds generally
shifting out of the southwest. This will continue to support
higher moisture across the area with RH expected to remain
above 50 percent through Saturday. Chances for rain increase
late Friday into Saturday as a quick moving system passes through
the northern portion of the area. Expect high pressure to fill in
late weekend into early next week with drier air and light winds.
Moisture once again increases into the middle of next week.

Fog potential tonight: Fog likely tonight with some spots of
dense fog possible, especially across the eastern Midlands.
