Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Central South Carolina
and East Central Georgia
National Weather Service Columbia SC
150 PM EDT Fri Jun 13 2025

.DISCUSSION...
Deep moisture over the region will promote widespread showers and
thunderstorms each day through Sunday. Peak convective activity
should be during the afternoon period each day but there may be
lingering showers overnight. Next week, ridging builds over the
region leading to scattered or isolated storms in a more typical
summertime pattern. Afternoon highs will gradually rise from the
mid to upper 80s to the low/mid 90s by the middle of next week.

Fog Potential Tonight: Patchy fog possible, especially in areas
that receive heavy rain.
