.DISCUSSION...
Hot conditions continue across the region. Moisture will
decrease a bit in the west today as low level flow becomes
northeast. A surface boundary across the southeast Midlands
will focus widely scattered to scattered thunderstorms in the
afternoon. The boundary will lift north into the central Midlands
as the low level flow becomes southerly. Afternoon thunderstorms
will remain widely scattered/scattered but shift slightly north.
Scattered thunderstorms possible Thursday as another weak front
moves into the area. A few strong storms possible. Upper ridge
builds over the weekend and expect hot temperatures to continue
with increasing heat impacts. Afternoon and evening thunderstorms
possible but limited coverage expected.

Fog potential for tonight: Patchy fog possible.
