Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Central South Carolina
and East Central Georgia
National Weather Service Columbia SC
1248 PM EST Sat Nov 29 2025

.DISCUSSION...
Dry high pressure remain entrenched across the area into Sunday
morning. Winds strengthen out of the southeast throughout Sunday
ahead of our next front and low level moisture will return by the
afternoon; RH`s will be notably higher Sunday as a result. A few
showers are possible as the front moves through late Sunday
evening. Winds turn northeasterly behind the front Monday morning
with a slug of dry pushing back in briefly. Widespread heavy rain
is then expected late Monday and Tuesday as a wave of low pressure
moves through; an area wide 1-2" of rain is expected.

Fog potential tonight: Fog not expected tonight.
