Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Central South Carolina
and East Central Georgia
National Weather Service Columbia SC
320 AM EST Wed Jan 15 2025

.DISCUSSION...
The weak upper level system will move across the region this morning.
This will usher in drier air for this afternoon through tonight.
Although the airmass will moderate slightly, a relatively dry air
mass will be in place through the end of the week. Moisture should be
on the increase by Friday night ahead of another approaching cold
front for the weekend. Showers are expected by Saturday morning,
lasting into Sunday with that frontal system.

Fog Potential: None.
