Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Central South Carolina
and East Central Georgia
National Weather Service Columbia SC
145 AM EDT Sun Nov 2 2025

.DISCUSSION...
An approaching low pressure system Sunday will bring some
scattered showers, and possibly an isolated thunderstorm, across
the eastern Midlands and Pee Dee today; rainfall totals will
remain light and less than 0.5". Winds behind this low will
continue out of the north throughout the early part of the week
as very dry high pressure fills into the region. Winds will
shift out of the south-southeast for Wednesday and Thursday as
a dry front moves through.

Fog potential: Low.
