Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Central South Carolina
and East Central Georgia
National Weather Service Columbia SC
122 AM EST Wed Nov 19 2025

.DISCUSSION...
Light and variable winds early this morning will shift southwest
and eventually west towards evening in response to an approaching
frontal boundary. The passage of a backdoor cold front tonight
will shift winds to the northeast and result in areas of low
clouds and patchy fog. Thursday is cooler but continued dry with
northeasterly winds. The winds shift to the southwest again early
Friday, which should be very warm and dry with increasing
cloudiness. The next chance of rain is expected late Friday into
early Saturday with a cold front, followed by a couple days of
cooler and drier conditions.

Fog potential tonight: Patchy
