Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Central South Carolina
and East Central Georgia
National Weather Service Columbia SC
140 PM EDT Sat Jun 15 2024

.DISCUSSION...
Generally hot conditions are expected to continue through early
next week as high pressure in the low and mid levels continues to
dominate the region. General flow will remain southeasterly,
helping keep dewpoints in the upper 60s and low 70s. As a result,
min RH values are only expected to fall into the 35-45% range
through the middle of this week. Isolated storms are possible each
afternoon with no widespread rain or frontal passages expected
this week at this time.

Fog potential for tonight: Patchy fog is possible mainly
near area lakes and rivers.
