Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Central South Carolina
and East Central Georgia
National Weather Service Columbia SC
115 PM EST Fri Nov 14 2025

.DISCUSSION...
SW winds will develop over the weekend and strengthen on Sunday
as a cold front nears the forecast area. This will lead to
increasing moisture with afternoon RH values remaining above
critical levels through Sunday. Winds will be gusty, particularly
Sunday, with gusts as high as 30 mph possible. The front passes
during the evening with winds turning more northwesterly for the
early week. The dry air behind the front will allow RH values to
drop to around 20 percent on Monday afternoon but winds will be
much lighter than the previous days. Dry weather is expected to
linger into next week.

Fog potential tonight: Fog not expected.
