Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Central South Carolina
and East Central Georgia
National Weather Service Columbia SC
1214 PM EST Mon Nov 3 2025

.DISCUSSION...
Dry conditions continue tonight as high pressure nears with
light winds shifting from the northwest to northeast. Tuesday
and Wednesday see high pressure fill in with continuing dry
conditions. Winds should be light out of the northeast, becoming
more easterly Tuesday evening but minimum RH values could fall into the
lower 30 percents. Wednesday sees breezy southwest winds where
gusts to 20-25 mph are possible with minimum RH values again into
the lower 30s percents. A dry front then passes into Thursday,
flipping winds back out of the northeast, becoming more southeasterly
by the weekend. The next rain chance could come this weekend but
confidence in this is low.

Fog potential: Patchy river fog is possible tonight.
