Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Central South Carolina
and East Central Georgia
National Weather Service Columbia SC
1210 PM EST Wed Dec 3 2025

.DISCUSSION...
Light and variable winds are expected tonight and into Thursday as
high pressure builds into the region, keeping dry conditions.
Starting Thursday night, a more active pattern is expected,
continuing into the weekend and possibly early next week with
chances for rain each day. At this time, the most soaking rainfall
is expected Thursday night and through Friday. Conditions may
dry up some toward the midweek next week, but there is some
uncertainty in this still.

Fog potential tonight: Patchy fog possible tonight.
