Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Central South Carolina
and East Central Georgia
National Weather Service Columbia SC
1259 AM EST Sat Dec 6 2025

.DISCUSSION...

A band of deeper moisture remains over the southeast Midlands and
CSRA today and will support continued rain chances through tonight
while the western and northern Midlands may not see much more
additional rainfall. Below normal temperatures continue through
the weekend.

Sunday and Monday bring more isolated to widely scattered chances
of rain, though Monday may see a bit higher chances of rain as an
upper trough moves through the region. Tuesday, high pressure
builds back in, bringing a return to dry conditions, though
minimum RH values are expected to remain above 45% each day
through the late week at this time.

Fog potential tonight: Patchy fog possible again tonight.
