Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Central South Carolina
and East Central Georgia
National Weather Service Columbia SC
203 AM EDT Thu Jul 17 2025

.DISCUSSION...
Ridging builds over the region late this week and into the
weekend. This will work to suppress showers and thunderstorms and
allow for above normal temperatures. Highs each day will likely be
in the mid to upper 90s. Expect only isolated to widely scattered
convection today through Sunday. Rainfall chances increase early
next week.

Fog Potential: Fog possible near creeks and bodies of water
