Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Central South Carolina
and East Central Georgia
National Weather Service Columbia SC
1136 AM EST Wed Nov 26 2025

.DISCUSSION...
A cold front is pushing through the region today, ushering a
drier and cooler airmass as we close out this holiday week. Min RH
values are forecast to be in the 20-30% range Thur/Fri/Sat, with
some locations seeing values fall into the teens. Winds are
expected to be light out of the northwest initially, shifting to
northeasterly by Saturday as the high pressure shifts to our east.
By Sunday/Monday, moisture will return along with increasing rain
chances through the middle of next week.

Fog potential tonight: Fog isn`t expected.
