Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Central South Carolina
and East Central Georgia
National Weather Service Columbia SC
1232 PM EST Fri Nov 21 2025

.DISCUSSION...
Low pressure system moving to the north of the area tonight will
lead to scattered showers and possibly an isolated storm. While
there will be some pockets of moderate rain across portions of the
area, a widespread wetting rain is not expected. Sufficient low
level moisture is expected to keep relative humidity generally
above 50 percent both today and tomorrow. High pressure settles
over the area Sunday and Monday with drier conditions and
generally light winds. This high will quickly move offshore,
leading to increasing moisture and additional chances for rain
Tuesday and Wednesday.

Fog potential tonight: Some patchy fog possible tonight with
scattered rain showers around as well.
